Lucifer sleeps like the dead UNLESS it inconveniences Vox in any way. He can’t try and fix their position or go to work or ANYTHING because the moment Vox pulls away even a little bit Lucifer will whine and try to get closer, and if Vox keeps pulling away it wakes him up.

Lucifer can fit into really tight spaces even without his shapeshifting abilities and he only ever utilizes this to follow Vox around. Hes in an important meeting and Lucifer can’t be there? Well maybe he shouldn’t have had an oversized desk with empty drawers.

Even if Lucifer didn’t have any of those out, he wiggles around a lot. He always tries to get closer to Vox in his sleep and its usually fine- but every now and then it somehow leads to Lucifer upside down and kicking his head or elbowing his gills..

Vox rarely sleeps in ever even if he doesn’t have work and during times he *might* he gets woken up by Lucifer anyways. Not intentionally, but his tail might start wagging and thwack him over and over, or his feathered wings tickle him, or his horns might scratch his screen
