@sc0nesandc0ffee its 100% survivorship bias. NMarsh Survival is easy if you built game knowledge of player and POI spawns over the last 3 mo. Better if youre in a regular trio. For engaged/informed players it feels easy but they are used to the wild egg hunt + boss fight schema/loop

@Authw8 I found out yesterday, after playing 5e since the 2012 playtest, that you retroactively gain (or lose) HP when your CON modifier changes. I DMed a lot but actually playing recently got me to read the PHB for real after 10+ years

@UDaRealHerta @dailyainoo in 1.0 the common sense was to build characters top-down: level, light cone, traces, gear, eidolons. I guess thats crept up to "eidolon 1/2 is a breakpoint for this character" since every other step got minmaxed to hell
