Today, we hosted a delegation from the #Zambia Statistics Agency @zamstats for a knowledge-sharing visit focused on strengthening official statistics, data governance, and digital innovation.

Discussions covered NISR’s role in #Rwanda’s administrative data systems, the country’s data governance journey, including data-sharing policies, guidelines, and data protection laws, and the alignment of statistical production with key development frameworks such as NST-2, Vision 2050, the SDGs, EAC Vision 2050, and AU Agenda 2063.

This exchange underscores the importance of regional collaboration in strengthening statistical systems, advancing evidence-based policymaking, and driving data-driven development across Africa.
