@hokennobro … for them. Same with ADHD. We have our own ways of living and our own rhythms. ADHD only feels disabling when we have to conform to strict societal structures made by people without ADHD. But if everyone has more empathy, then ADHD is no longer a disability.

@hokennobro I do website management and learned that if you don’t add accessibility for blind people for your website, then you disable blind people. Blind people are not naturally disabled, they are disabled by people with sight that don’t have empathy and make environments impossible

@hokennobro I imagine life as a dance that is always in motion. When I fight against it, it is difficult because I am going against nature. But if I dance with it, it is more joyous and I end up in places I couldn’t imagine.

@hokennobro I’ve learned to embrace it. Follow what makes me interested and happy. Hyperfocus on things that are interesting. Mundane things used to be boring but now I find the deeper meaning in everything and chase it. I also embrace crashes and let myself enjoy being quiet.

@EliotJacobson Loss of fertilizer means 10 acre farms have to increase in size for the same output which means deforestation to keep up with demand. That’s more pressure for Brazil to slash the rain forest. Long term, that is insanely bad for climate change. So… that’s a no for me.

@nocontextmemes I once worked at a McDonalds and became a shift manager. One of our crew said they were really sick and I sent them home. The other managers said they were faking but it didn’t matter to me. You have to trust your crew and do right by them. Hate that I was an outlier in that.
