@JamesRavilious@beaford I remember going there with my Granny, Eve Lynch-Blosse to see the building of the working replica of the Golden Hind, they were selling little blocks of the wood off as souvenirs, Granny thought it a waste of money and simply picked up a discarded block of wood from the floor!
Keep a close eye on the swans nesting next door to us, our calculations are that we could expect the first hatchlings quite soon 🤞#swanwatch@BoATownCouncil @Goingzero2030 @ExploreBoA
Thanks to @CaronBellITV and @itvwestcountry for their great coverage of our nesting Swans next to the hotel - and particularly for highlighting the need to give them space and NOT try to feed them #swanwatchuk@ExploreBoA@VisitWiltshire
We’re excited to reopen and look forward to welcome everyone for our lovely Thai food, our Pub Classics menu or just a drink on our terrace or in our newly erected marquee! https://t.co/XK9p2ZRqsa
@BoATownCouncil Yes still accepting books, please drop them off via the terrace entrance off our car park - if none is around just put them in the back porch - but be careful as all the woodwork is being repainted ready for our reopening on the evening of the 15th!
#swanwatch
Sadly it would appear that they have lost their first egg, although sometimes they do bury them in the nest, I guess to keep them warm and protect them, doesn’t look like it though so most likely sadly lost to vermin 😢
@YardleyBeer@BIIandBIIAB@RishiSunak We do really appreciate the help but Would love to know where @RishiSunak got his information that pub and Restaurant rents are between £14,000-£20,000 annually in justifying how far £18,000 would go! #PubsMatter

Felt sorry for who was a @bathnes council employee(?) who was tasked with telling everyone sitting on the benches outside the abbey that they shouldn’t be sitting there, I get it but wouldn’t it be better just to cordon them off? @RadioBath_com @visitbath
@theGreatWestWay@ExploreBoA make sure you allow time to explore the town centre of Bradford on Avon - so much to see, great independent shapes, cafes and restaurants and a town steeped in history
