I’m trying to bring change to my union. More active and more involvement in the brotherhood aspect and the working setting. We need to train our apprentices better, we need to show up and prove we’re the best and worth the money, we need to teach brotherhood and what that means.

But when I mess up or am too overwhelming, I attract a lot of hate and gossiping behind my back. Very disheartening considering my heart is in the right place. If I start the fight early in my career, maybe thru the years I’ll inspire more to pick up the torch.
