This accurately quotes the trial percentages, but the trials do not support the conclusion that Retatrutide is proven to cause disproportionately more muscle loss in a way that makes Tirzepatide the clearly “smarter tool.” The authors of the Retatrutide substudy actually called the results reassuring. No phase 3 head-to-head body composition data exist yet. If muscle preservation is your priority, both drugs respond well to lifting + protein regardless.
