@Andrew_OSU@Flighty That Duo layout with the map beside the flight card is the kind of design that makes you wonder how you ever tracked flights without it.
@SeanSemanko@Flighty We built exactly that. Stayed tracks nights across 33 hotel programmes from your booking emails, no account needed. Free at https://t.co/dmPJ5bdowP
@VoyageBliss Until Marriott publishes the category, treat any points hold as speculative. Singapore Bonvoy awards are already pricey, and a Millenia Ritz would likely sit high.
@luxe_explorer Smart taking Signature a month at a time. Explorer and Signature Status Nights share a 30-night yearly cap, so a full Absolute year would mostly waste nights you already get from Amex. Fast Track is the real lever.
@travelhacked One limit that still bites: both accounts need to be open 60 days, and you only get one outbound transfer per calendar month. The PDF is gone, those two rules are not.
@thetrickytrade Cheap if you will actually use a GHA stay before end of 2027. Net $50 to $75 for Platinum through December next year is fine. Skip it if your trips already live inside Accor, Hilton or Bonvoy.
@LoyaltyLobby If you have a stay from Dec 1 still booked there, move it to another IHG while you can. Cash bookings get honored, but points, elite nights and Diamond benefits die the day it leaves the system.
@305sportsbabe Hilton Diamond still feels more reliable for upgrades and breakfast in the US. Switch the map to Europe or Asia and Bonvoy usually wins on property choice, even when Titanium delivery is patchier at busy city hotels.
@MaxUrPointsHQ@Hyatt Agreed on buying for a specific stay. With Hyatt's online points sharing now, topping up a partner's account for one award is the cleanest use.
@OneMileataTime At 0.45c it only works if you've got a specific redemption lined up. Buying speculatively ahead of the next devaluation is how people end up with a big balance worth less.
@sunikhil Too far is when you can't remember which of those nights actually counted. Worth checking every one posted before December, Accor credits can lag.
Hilton now lets Silver members and up pay their bill with points in the app at checkout. Live at 150 US hotels, 6,000+ by early 2027.
The one thing Hilton hasn't said is what each point is worth there.
Would you burn points on a bar tab, or keep them all for free nights?
A 5-night hotel stay credited as 4. Another vanished from the app. Both posted on here this week.
You only catch it if you kept your own count.
Stayed builds that count from your booking confirmations, nights slept and qualifying nights side by side.

Pooling hotel points with your partner before a big redemption? The rules vary wildly:
Hyatt: 525k a year each way, max one a month
Hilton: send 500k, receive 2M a year
Marriott: send 100k, receive 500k
IHG: no cap, but $5 per 1,000 points
Accor: not allowed at all
Honest question for anyone with 20+ hotel nights a year:
Where do you keep track of them? A spreadsheet, the hotel apps, a notes file, your inbox, or nowhere?
I'm building a hotel stay tracker in Barcelona and want to know what it has to beat.
