@kirsty_psych @SarahE_Davidson @Muna_Abdi_Phd Shows how the process of sharing can lead to unintentional but still troublesome outcomes. I hadn't realised the image had cripped out the author. Sincere thanks for correcting this.
Check out Mind The Gap, a new teaching handbook that illustrates the clinical signs of derm conditions on skin of color. It's by British medical student Malone Mukwende, and you can find him @malone_mk.

Genuinely impressed by how Liverpool as a city and @lpoolcouncil is trying to manage homelessness. It isn't perfect, but the commitment is there. Including today's webinar focussed on making sure we grow form the learning from covid lockdown.
Genuine question:
Anyone know of any mindfulness grounding audio / YouTube tracks that have working class language and accents?
Don't want to start a debate about class here. It's a genuine request and if it irritates you, please ignore.
@liljadeywadey@kezkel101@WillCurvis@drrutterford Heya Jade, just seen this is looking for a voluntary role. I'm really sorry but it's not something I offer. I haven't yet worked out a way to address the inequitability of these roles. I'm sorry.
So... I'm hearing this a lot atm and wanna say that it ain't for White therapists to challange this position. We need to step aside and enable. I'm not gonna Whitesplain why, if you don't know, there's plenty of ways to find out.
Thank you @SteWeatherhead for an excellent seminar today on homelessness and neuropsychology . Powerful and persuasive stuff ! Great to see this platform being used to challenge conventional models of service delivery in clinical neuropsychology
Very interesting webinar today on the need for neuropsychological support for homeless people from @SteWeatherhead. We need to do more to bridge the gap between service provision and these hard-to-reach populations in need...
Thanks to @SteWeatherhead for a powerful seminar on neuropsychology and homelessness this morning, and for introducing me to https://t.co/BzEVamrssS. A service that was developed to support people who have been 'forced between the cracks'. More of this please.
