Why aren't you funding @StealthTransit? the system that protects #astronomy from @Starlink. Especially since the sats are growing at a faster rate than you can make them dim :) $15 million a year will solve the problem. Your turn :)

@Stephen86898116 We can make this with GPS receivers. Each lamp generates pulses with a phase precisely adjusted to its distance from the telescope. You can see the rectangular-shaped antenna of the GPS receiver in the photo.

@ReineM Hello Reine. This is for any size in theory. If we are talking about amateur telescopes with a wide field of view, StealthTransit system protects them better than professional ones with a wide field of view (such as LSST).

@shaunreylec@AstroRuz We propose to interrupt the exposure during transit without interrupting the sensor integration mode. This is possible manually or with the help of an orbit prediction unit.
