@ASychov Apples to oranges.
You can’t compare a car that is made in America with a Chinese made car.
And act like “they are the same cost” when the Chinese cars are made with 1/5 labor cost.
For example, add 100% tarriff if you’re asking Americans and then compare.
@ASychov I watched entire video, I’m actually one of the few hundred who watches your guys podcast start to finish. Generally I like your thoughts but here I feel you’re being very cruel to a regular guy, and I don’t like bullying.
@ASychov Your product is too expensive. You should be less greedy. Your product doesn’t even do X. You should give it for free and take donations. You made enough money already.
These are not arguments, you’re just being a HATER.
Only valid point is about using their name to market it.
@ASychov Let’s say that is true. Why even make that statement? Are you saying if his mod was better he could charge for it? Are you saying if it was cheaper he could charge for it?
No, your point is he can’t charge for it at all, so all of your statements there weren’t salient points
@sorek_UK@Shodah10 Right? It literally feels like everyone has lost their minds here. Many of the responses are just bitterness and jealousy over this guy making some money. Very childish behavior and also short term thinking!
@Sharkmare@DrGregVR Very interesting! I’d heard about Right to Repair before but didnt realize the intersection with mods. You make a lot of sense I need to dig into this topic more.
@Shodah10@trevogre It’s drives more talent AND it increases quality and brings price down. 5 other devs will see Luke making money and think, “I can do this better and cheaper”. That’s good for GAMERS!
Now we have less options.
@Shodah10@trevogre He’s a person just like you. He wants to play video games, spend time with family, have a career, why should he be forced to not only build this software but patch it constantly for free? As consumers we want people to have monetary incentives. It drives more talent to space.
@Shodah10@trevogre No that wouldn’t fly because the original artist could say you’re stealing sales from him. You can buy the 2nd song without the 1st. Do you see how your example is different than Luke’s?
@trevogre@Shodah10 You’re 100% right it’s seriously depressing seeing people act like this. I also suspect that a lot of it is just bitterness over Luke making money.

Totally get it, I’ve had Model X since 2021 and novelty still hasn’t worn off. I love the Falcon doors, auto-opening front doors, yoke, UI, etc. Just such a fun car.
Also love how they always have drop the software updates with new features to look forward to.
Good luck with the new car, I’m curious how the Xiami will compare.
100%
-Packaging materials, less foam, less accessories, online manuals.
-Power usage, standby mode, Light sensors on displays
-Advanced environmental sensors built into AV products
-monitoring software, and API to tie into central automation platforms
This is what we are seeing from LG, Cisco, Logitech, NEC etc. Smaller players aren't thinking about it.
