@DavidDone1 I live closer than Claire and my daughter first heard the alarm at 4 am. Mistakes happen but it is disgusting that mangers have now known about this for many hours and decided it can wait until Monday. Great neighbours!
@greateranglia I want to change an advance ticket for this evening COL to Stratford to the 16:33 on Monday. App confirms this allowed for 10 quid fee. App also fails at last step. Same problem for last 24hours. Help?

A Squash and a Squeeze by #JuliaDonaldson is a beautifully simple allegory for adaptation of all kinds, from perception to politics, incl. shifts in the Overton Window and the praise given by media, even the liberal media, to the arrival of Jeremy Hunt at the top of government.
Agreed. He shouldn't be apologising for poor commentary professionalism, but is a natural. His insights and humour are a great addition to a good team.
Just in case @elonmusk decides to start charging me for using Twitter... will it be worth it? I have 4747 followers, but what does that translate to in terms of people who give a shit about what I say? Smush that like button if you're reading this :-) RT if you give a shit :-)
Reading the news coverage of the @UCU#FourFights strike, I get the impression that many people don’t know what University lecturers do (and why would they?), so here’s a thread on it. I’m a psychologist, so let’s start with the work of the average psychology lecturer. 🧵👇1/18
Curious how others are using PsychoPy to teach undergraduate #psychology lab classes?
Jan Derfuss @notts_psych has done a splendid job here, and made all pages #openaccess
Thank-you!

@AvantiWestCoast I tried, was on hold for 80 minutes. In the end the only option was cancel original booking and try again from scratch. Before doing this, your colleague confirmed our train was now full to we'd lose booked seats. Didn't do this so paid full price. How can I get refund of excess?
@AvantiWestCoast having trouble using your "change booking" form. It says "use proper characters" but doesn't tell me what these are, nor what characters are wrong. I simply want to add a child to our family trip (with F&F railcard) but there is no simple way of doing this
@AvantiWestCoast Thanks. Apparently the wait time for a response to the form I've now successfully submitted, with your help, is 4 weeks (yes you read that right!). That's one way of never having to resolve issues before it's too late. i know it's not your fault, Hannah. All help appreciated.
@AvantiWestCoast Yes that worked. Thanks. Apparently, semi-colons are not "proper". Is it still best to wait for this form to get a response for my particular booking issue?
