@j_christo3@mortonpeas@DangleSpanners@Johnimator00 @therilesyouknow The person I was replying to is based in the UK where pavement cycling is illegal. No doubt whereever you live in the world it may be legal but it's a big world out there.
@PaulGSmith1835@noeldarlow @DavidEGatesUK @bike_rogers Looks like the truck has potentially run the red light too given that it's illegal for any vehicle to proceed over a stop line against a red light and that bumper is well over. But then again people are happy to pick and choose which laws they think should actually be followed.
@spokameraman @noeldarlow @DavidEGatesUK @bike_rogers By that logic most cars shouldn't be treated as vehicles either. 86% of motorists speed in 20mph zones.
@mysaymysay1 @cargobikeben @limebike And I'll ask yet again. "In what way do you feel I've demonstrated my entitlement".
You don't appear able to support the things you say. How come? In truth we both know why.
@mysaymysay1 @cargobikeben @limebike "It proves my point" You fail to identify what point is supposedly proven. You fail to identify how the point (whatever it is) is supposedly proven. You resort to insults alongside your failures. Exactly the same pattern as last time we spoke.
@mysaymysay1 @cargobikeben @limebike All of them huh? Every last one? Sure.
Thank you for admitting to generalising even though it was very obvious.
Is cycling just a hobby? No. Silly to imply it is.
You have again failed to demonstrate my supposed entitlement. Have another go by all means.
@mysaymysay1 @cargobikeben Your bigotry is shining right through.
Whatever you think of my opinions, what I, as one person, say in no way demonstrates that "most cyclists are" what you claim.
In what way do you feel I've demonstrated my supposed entitlement? You fail to identify how.
@mysaymysay1 @cargobikeben To be clear you appear to be okay choosing when it's okay for laws to be flouted, thinking children should be allowed to ride on pavements. Why shouldn't adult cyclists be allowed to make decisions themselves too? Why is it only you that gets to choose? You appear entitled.
@mysaymysay1 @cargobikeben "kids should be able to ride safely on the pavements" But you said "always confront and challenge cyclists on pavements". Do you see the contradiction.
"I will always remove.. adult cyclists from the pavement" even when it's shared? No you won't.
@mysaymysay1 @cargobikeben "always confront and challenge cyclists on our pavements" Yep, get them all in the road and shared pavements aren't real. Right?
@mysaymysay1@KarazazuN@roadcc "try being a pedestrian" said as if encountering two people riding slowly on the pavement is the equivalent of being rammed off the road and suffering life changing injuries. You're being daft.
@Donsayers@Sandford_Police Don, that conversation didn't happen in a pub, you were referring to a conversation you were having elsewhere on Twitter. A conversation that you were woefully misrepresenting. Best let it lie.
@keith_ingram @markhipwell1990 The idea that people wouldn't do something if it didn't work is false.
As evidenced by the fact 'Doctors' utilised bloodletting for nigh on 2,000yrs.
But yes to a driver that isn't looking hiviz is meaningless.
@AshleyNealDI @Tdr1nka @theJeremyVine On what basis do you believe that you have the right to his personal details? Has he broken a law. What has he supposedly breached?
Seems you're just lashing out for some reason.
