I wish the figures were revealed well before they went into production, so there was time to adjust based on [reasonable] fan feedback. Wouldn't solve all the issues, but some design ones could be addressed.

@Zerobuster_g Luckily "Megalania" is still used as a common name (like "Mammoth" or "Dodo"). But yeah, it's sad when a cool-sounding name is replaced (Harpagornis!).

The model must have strong bolts and internal frame. Not sure I believe the real animal could achieve this pose, but it's cool!

@Zerobuster_g It's the glorious Megalania! Although I suppose technically it's also Varanus, since Megalania is Varanus priscus. It turns out "Megalania" has changed from scientific (genus) name to informal name. I only found out recently.

@Tom_Jurassic I was thrilled when they announced HC Scorpios, I didn't think it'd actually happen. Having it end up like this is a real downer. "Maybe it'll look better in hand", I think. Instead, it looks worse. All I can do now is hold onto a shred of hope that Nanmu will tackle it.
