Caste discrimination doesn’t become ingrained unless a religion already carries a serious problem with hierarchy and exclusion. The Bible itself endorses social hierarchies—especially in the Old Testament, where slavery is openly justified, including instructions for slaves to obey even cruel masters. It even permits sexual slavery. In Christian Europe, serfdom was a normalized system—entire generations lived and died in bonded labor, with bishops owning hundreds of serfs. Even in the Gospels, slavery isn’t condemned. During the American Civil War, slave owners in the South regularly cited the Bible to justify their actions, and the Boers in Africa did the same during their violent campaigns. In his famous "Cornerstone Speech," Confederate Vice President Alexander H. Stephens literally used Bible verses to defend slavery. And that’s just a small part of a much larger pattern.

If your people and your government actually gave a damn about Raja Raja Chola I’s legacy, then why the hell is his samadhi in ruins with barely a signboard? No respect, no recognition. Meanwhile, in Jharkhand, there’s a grander memorial for Chinese soldiers who died here than for a Tamil emperor in Tamil Nadu—the emperor who spread Tamil culture to North India and beyond, who built the Brihadeeswarar Temple that alone rakes in ₹20 crore a year.
Sorry, but Modi has done a pathetic job honoring the Cholas—almost as bad as the Tamil people who blindly worship a Kannadiga that once called Tamil the language of barbarians.

North Indians can be viscerally racist—just like some Tamil nationalists can be, too. Not drawing a false equivalence here, but it's wild how some folks disown their Indian identity just to defend anti-India hate. Ironically, that hate often stems from deep-rooted colorism—against dark-skinned South Indians *and* dark-skinned North Indians alike. It cuts both ways. Internal racism among Indians only reflects poorly on us and echoes the colonial legacy left behind by the white man. I'm a North Indian myself, and I adore Tamil girls. I’ve met Tamils fairer than most Northies and Northies darker than many Tamils—skin tone never told the full story.
