Last week, over 253 tonnes of critical energy equipment from Lithuania reached two Ukrainian regions.
The assistance included three power transformers for the Khmelnytskyi region, as well as a 200 MVA autotransformer with 76 pieces of auxiliary equipment for Ukraine’s transmission system operator, Ukrenergo.
The equipment will help strengthen Ukraine’s transmission and distribution networks and support repairs to infrastructure damaged by russian attacks.
Thank you to our Lithuanian partners, AB Energijos Skirstymo Operatorius (ESO) and Blue/Yellow, for their valuable contribution to Ukraine’s energy resilience.
Thank you to @eu_echo for supporting the logistics.
Too little but something. Stopping reselling Russian LNG in EU ports means that Russia does not have enough ice class shipping capacity to sell all Yamal gas in LNG as routes get longer.
The sanctions squeeze Russian exports. Next: sanctioning all LNG. https://t.co/MP7EGyQ1ar
