Hey @jumuiya, a welcome step toward stronger regional health security. Is the full PPPR Policy Framework available online? I would appreciate a link to the document/PDF. Thanks

The EAC has today launched its first Regional Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response (PPPR) Policy Framework. This is a landmark step set to strengthen cross-border disease surveillance, improve early warning systems and ensure faster, coordinated responses to health emergencies across East Africa.
For citizens, this means;
🔹Better protection of lives and livelihoods,
🔹 Reduced disruption to trade, travel and education
🔹 Stronger safeguards for the most vulnerable communities during future outbreaks.
The Policy Framework, approved in May 2025 by regional ministers of health, provides a harmonised regional roadmap for how EAC Partner States prevent, detect and respond to public health threats, working together rather than in isolation. It prioritises equity by placing vulnerable populations at the centre of preparedness and response efforts, while strengthening collaboration among national health systems.
The framework also adopts a One Health approach, recognising the close link between human, animal and environmental health.
Speaking during the launch, EAC Deputy Secretary General @AguerAriik noted that, drawing lessons from recent emergencies including COVID-19, Ebola, Marburg, cholera and Mpox, the EAC is shifting from reactive crisis management to proactive prevention.
Further @aphrc Deputy Executive Director, Dr. Joseph Gichuru,noted that the framework leverages opportunities in digital health, regulatory harmonization to advance self-reliance and early warning and response capabilities.

@SafaricomPLC 🤔 Come on ^LB! I believe you can see the screenshot I shared six days ago. And if you don't have a way to solve it, just let me know. I'll figure out how to reinstall the old MPESA app and withdraw my investment from Zidii Trader.
@SafaricomPLC
Hey @SafaricomPLC
I have yet to access my investment in ZiiDi Trader since the launch of the MyOneApp, despite the countless updates! The error message is more puzzling😑
@SafaricomPLC Yes, I am using the current version. I received the latest app update today. Ziidi Trader has not been working on the initial one, nor on any updates since.

Too little, too late.
Picked the wrong approach and time to launch it. Given that Ziidi MMF's interest was dwindling, Ziidi Trader was catching up—a perfect way to recover. Then! You shot yourself in the foot.
With all the chaos, customers are exploring elsewhere.
@SafaricomPLC

I appreciate the team's efforts to improve M-Pesa's security. Unfortunately, it will cost you! The complex issues with the OneApp. When I thought today's 60MB update would improve the app, it made it even worse🤦🏽♂️
By the time it's seamless, no one will be using it😬
Hey @SafaricomPLC
You should have updated your customers on your transition to the new app, away from the 'traditional' MPESA app! You'll definitely lose diaspora folks due to the app's inability to access investment apps via WiFi. A flop for Ziidi Inv, Global Pay & Ziidi trader

At its meeting on November 19, 2025, in Kigali, Rwanda, the @Pandemic_Fund Board approved US$500 million in grants under the third Call for Proposals—supporting 32 low- and middle-income countries through 20 projects to strengthen #pandemicprevention, preparedness, and response (PPR) capacities.
These investments are expected to mobilize roughly US$4 billion in additional international co-financing and domestic co-investments, underscoring the Fund’s strong catalytic capabilities. With this expansion, the Pandemic Fund’s portfolio is set to exceed US$11 billion, reaching 98 countries across six regions. Detailed funding allocations will be announced early in the new year once project arrangements are finalized.
The Board also endorsed a new methodology and metrics, based on hazards, vulnerability, and PPR capacity, to identify countries with the highest risks and needs and agreed to launch a targeted funding round for these countries in March 2026.
We look forward to seeing the growing impact of the Pandemic Fund in helping countries and regions detect and contain emerging outbreaks and prevent future pandemics, thereby strengthening global #healthsecurity.
Windows updates:
Windows 10 support ends in October 2025; you must migrate to Windows 11🤓
Me: 🧐
Looking back in time:
Loved Windows 7, never migrated or used Windows 8.
Loved Windows 10,...🤫🤗
When are we getting Windows 12/13??
There is no way I am migrating to 11🤓
@Windows
Libgen, Sci-Hub, and Z-library had millions of pirated academic books and papers.
So, they were shut down. We shouldn't use them anyway.
We should help billion-dollar academic publishers get richer.
Anyway, here's how to access these libraries:
Don't do this!
