Dads house is about to be favorite for a little while... Our dog had at least 5 puppies today! Exciting!!!!

Thing all weekend, a 30 minute hike in the woods to show them something & teenagers basically refuse but will play basketball for an hour...

@StepfamilyTalk problem in my situation is mom not accepting my place bc she's insecure in her own. I wish she'd just leave me alone really.

@StepfamilyTalk her own insecurities show thru and that hurts the kids. I don't desire to be her, I'm me and that's all I want to be!!

@StepfamilyTalk I do my best 2 make life as pleasant as I can for all involved but seems the more effort I put in, harder mom makes life.

@SuddenlyStepmom sometimes they call me "smother" and I'm still not sure how I feel about that so I just let it go. Pick your battles!

@SuddenlyStepmom They can call me whatever they want as long as it's respectful. I use stepmom bc most ppl recognize it easier.

Having bronchitis on my SS birthday is no fun! :-( he turns 18 today and mil is having dinner, I need to bake a cake!
