ADULTING LESSON:

I turn 30 next month. I'm still on my folks' auto insurance. 🙃 I'm privileged. I understand that and I'm grateful.

The downside is I just called to get a quote on my own policy. It's just shy of two thousand bucks a year.

Especially being a month from 30, I expressed these concerns to the agent providing the quote. He then proceeded to give me a hell of a pep talk on how it's normal and I have a degree and a good job and supportive parents and none of that is to be ashamed of.
