everyone keeps talking about balance.
"you can do both." "just manage your time better." "it's all about priorities."

but let me be real with you.
there is no balance. there never was. and pretending there is will just stress you out.

here is what actually happens:
some days, school wins. you have deadlines, exams, assignments that matter. so tech takes a back seat.

other days, tech wins. you have a project you're excited about, a client deadline, something you're building that actually matters to your future. so school gets the bare minimum.
you're not balancing. you're choosing.

what to do instead

stop feeling guilty for choosing. if you focus on school this week, you're not falling behind in tech. if you focus on tech, you're not being irresponsible.

know your season. exam period? school priority. break? tech priority.

give 100% to whatever you choose that day. half-assing both helps nothing.

accept that something will always feel neglected. because you're one person. you can't do everything at once.

there's no balance. there's just choices.
and the sooner you accept that, the less stressed you'll be.
