UPDATE With non-med family members at my cousin's bedside it took 5 days to get pain bearable during the day. Despite requests for call, only heard from team through wife's phone at rounds

Flew in day 6 when from 11p to 2a he was in 10/10 pain and they couldn't reach a provider.
