@HalifaxBank I have been on the phone a couple of times over the last day about an LPA issue. Your customer services was excellent. Kind and thoughtful and sorted out the issue. Thank you
As leaders of complex system change, we should value the creation of relationships as a key outcome in its own right:
- We need to stop trying to design the solution & instead design for the conditions that enable the emergence of many solutions
- Fostering more, quality & trusted relationships is a critical enabler of that emergence.
Time spent building relationships & networks is not 'fluffy’. Rather, it's an investment in legitimacy & better outcomes. Superb piece by Bill Bannear of @ThinkPlace: https://t.co/CL8n05oUZY
It's that time again--we need your brain power and, yes, we will pay for your brains.

Unambiguous conclusion on risk assessment tools in today’s NICE guidance on self-harm.
Don’t use them.
Risk is individual, complex, dynamic & can’t be reduced to a number.
Assessment should be personal, collaborative, leading to a practical plan to keep safe.
How many hospital electronic patient records do ICS’s need to knit together? Not much green 😬
Red: ICS with 7+ EPRs
Orange: ICS with 4-6 EPRs
Yellow: ICS with 3 or fewer EPRs BUT at least 1 trust without EPR
Green: ICS with 3 or fewer EPRs AND all trusts have EPR

UNAMA is deeply concerned with today’s announcement by the Taliban that all women must cover their faces in public, should only leave their homes in cases of necessity, & that violations will lead to the punishment of their male relatives.

what is it like to be a woman in Afghanistan:
- can’t study
- can’t work
- can’t travel without male chaperone
- can’t show your face
- can’t go to parks on certain days
If Taliban could control oxygen intake they’d probably decide how much a woman is allowed to take
So much pain & grief for women of my country, my heart is exploding. So much hatred & anger against Taliban, enemies of women, enforcers of gender apartheid, enemies of Afghanistan & humanity. The world is a bystander to our pain,to an apartheid, to complete tyranny. #Afghanistan
