Well then if you're so confident, file suit in court and see where that gets you. Or better yet, call the AG's office and let them know that all counties in Texas are in violation of your claim. But alas, you should be smarter than that - as you know it clearly is referencing the State and not Counties. Ooops, there goes your balloon argument - with facts that you know are true that dispel your narrative.
@retiredsam5@FamilyProjectTX You mean your county appraisal district react to the market? You mean your market value of your property hasn't increased every year for the last decade plus? If your taxes go up, that's your elected officials and the tax rates they're passing - not your appraisal district.
And RAISE taxes on Texas Seniors, Disabled, Disabled Veterans, the poor, middle class while killing Texas retail and manufacturing, killing small towns all across the State, killing any border town and centralizing the control of tax dollars to the State - like Russia, China, etc. all do. There, fixed it for you.

No actually I laugh at the absurdity of that statement.
You have yet to come up with a legal ruling or court that supports your claim.
If it were anywhere close to true property taxes would be deemed illegal in Texas. But they’re not and every day is validation of that truth and your absurdity
And what data do you have to support that falsehood? On average only 14% of all ISD annual budget goes to the administrators. Administrators have an ever increasing challenging job with all of the junk that's thrown on them by the Feds, State (STAAR for example) and locals. It's a market driven salary scale - you can put in all of the hours, educational qualifications and experience and get back to us on how they're overpaid vs. someone that did equally as much in the private sector.
@FamilyProjectTX Ridiculous that you think this is true. Texas ranks 38th to 47th lowest in the US for spending per pupil (depending on which ranking you choose). Generally speaking it's about 44th lowest. Educate yourself.
@staplesource@FamilyProjectTX You do realize that 100% of those athletic facilities were voted on and approved by LOCAL voters right? They were reviewed and financially approved by school board members who are elected by LOCAL voters right?
