@kulula@Vitality_SA A warning from my own experience now travel is on the cards. We booked a holiday through Vitality&Kulula our venues weren't paid. In short we've lost almost 30k! Kulula promised a full refund in writing-still waiting. Book via Vitality&Kulula @ your own risk!
#Bitcoin was made for this!
Central banks are THE problem:
1) governments want war/lockdown/bailout
2) central banks create money to finance this
3) new money causes inflation, prices rise
4) central banks increase rates to tame inflation
5) banks, stocks, money die
Rinse&repeat
@dinominuzzo@HostkingWebHost@ispa_za This should be shared as far & wide as possible. I’m sad to say as methodical & careful as I usually am I’ve been scammed out of 10’a of thousands of rands trying to buy a vehicle from what isn’t even in hindsight a very sophisticated scam-Bravo Auto Auctioneers-avoid@all costs!
Who's going to do something about this! https://t.co/P5hMUrQoXX Ripped off a mate of mine on Friday to the tune of R35k - fake car dealer, submitted a takedown request to
@HostkingWebHost and @ispa_za with a valid Police Case number and today they put up another bogus website?
To add to South Africans woes
1. Loadshedding
2. Water Rotation
3. Google forgot to renew its https://t.co/gqKpQkUNJ0 DNS name
I am sure the list goes on...

The Jan. #CPI rose .6%, YOY it's up 7.5%! The larger than expected jump continues to confound the #Fed that expects the #inflation problem to go away on its own. The Fed intends to "fight" inflation using the same accommodative policy it used when there was no inflation to fight!
With 260% government debt to GDP, the Bank of Japan announced that they will have an unlimited bid to buy 10-year government bonds at 0.25% rates.

Yield curve control. Pegged long-duration rates.
The world highest individual tax burden country. SA in 10th place, Namibia in 20th Lesotho number 27 and Eswatini 33rd! Do income tax payers get much back? Also SA and Namibia are 1 & 2 in Emerging Markets with Lesotho at 5th and Eswatini at 7th. Malawi and Zambia also in top 10
The Fed is still doing QE while talking about potential 50pt rate hikes and QT, as official inflation prints come in at 7.5%.
Why?
Because with debt this high, and stocks this expensive (and tied to consumer spending), they are concerned about spooking markets.
