ALERT: Las Vegas police release video of transgender man ripped from his car after plotting to shoot up a casino.

Allison Howlett, 36, who was born male but is living as female, was charged with making terroristic threats, assault with a deadly weapon, auto theft, gun theft, and other offenses.

Howlett's former spouse, who is a female, called the police to report that Howlett had stolen her vehicle and taken a large number of firearms with him, according to Henderson Police Chief Reggie Rader.

The former spouse tracked her stolen car on her phone, which led police to the Sunset Station hotel parking garage.

When police, with the help of the FBI, arrived, Howlett started blasting music and refusing to cooperate with officers until he asked for some water.

Rader said, “When she asked for water, the quick-thinking officers developed a plan to take her into custody as an opportunity arose when she reached for the water… Officers used that moment to gain control of her hands and remove her from the vehicle.”

Howlett was ripped from the car, and officers were shocked to find he was sitting on a handgun, had an MP5 submachine gun sitting in the back seat, and had 22 other guns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

Howlett has made previous mass shooting threats dating back to 2024 and is being held on $500,000 bail at the Clark County Detention Center.
