This is shocking. There used to be many routes into study for those who didnโt make the cut first time - cheap FE evening classes, extra-mural university departments, low cost Open University modules. What is *wrong* with these people?

Brainwashed adoration. No criticism of the system is permissible. Algorithms are never wrong.
But they are fallible. But that will never be accepted.

Imposing a pay rise could well backfire.
Teachers not impressed by such a strategy. So why not others?
@smithsmm EYFS and Year 1 is learning in the raw. Everything is a learning experience. Knowing that and using that to best advantage is a great skill.
Such teachers do wonderful work. I am lucky to watch them do it.
