People buying land will see an opportunity to buy cheap (govt needs the cash to fulfill its pledges) and sell high (labour can’t build HS2 otherwise), all aided an abetted by Tories.

@Jon_Chalk1 @pjennings73pj @IanDunt They could promise to pay no more for the land than the landowner paid for it, whatever additional investment the owner had made in it in the meantime. As long as they give fair warning of their intention, buyers can choose to take the risk.
