The owners said sometime ago that that record wouldn’t go while under their watch. Yatesy was suspended a couple of years ago before Abbott became a bench regular yet he was there for the games Yates missed.
🚨 Glasner: Forest Will Not Protect Academy Record For Its Own Sake
- Glasner says the academy record must reflect real minutes earned on merit
- Yates is now the only academy graduate who is a first-team regular
- Zach Abbott has joined Southampton on loan
- Streak of academy players in the squad dates back to at least October 1941
- It could be threatened if the captain is absent
- Glasner: "It is not just about having a player in the squad"
- Wants two or three more academy players promoted to the senior squad
- Says that would make injuries far easier to manage
- Brennan Johnson's £47.5m move to Spurs was part of £100m-plus raised
- Yates, at Forest since age eight, is held up as an example to the academy

That Foden red card is everything that’s wrong with football. Bruno kicks him twice, he kicks out at Bruno. The only difference is Bruno goes down like he’s been shot and Foden gets up.
It’s ridiculous. Either they both get reds or neither of them do, simple as that
He’s going to go back to work knowing he’s been plastered all over the Internet for snatching Isak’s shirt from a kid.
Imagine being a grown man, going viral, and becoming known as the guy who tried to take a football shirt from a child. What an embarrassing way to make the headlines.
