@secretsqrl123 What ground forces do the Ukrainians attack with? The Russians also have drones and have been systematically destroying Ukrainian gas stations and infrastructure.
@LetsArmUKR Iran doesn't have nukes yet, so no insurance policy. Which is why the nuclear armed countries are not in conflict with Pakistan, India and maybe Israel (they probably have nukes). Supposedly South Africa was close or had one before Mandela took over.
How so? The only reason the Ukraine is not the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic is the U.S.. We don't owe any nation anything. Nations do not have friends, the have allies. Alliance only happens and only extends to where interests are aligned. In addition, the U.S. has been the biggest supporter of the Ukraine and continues to support the Ukraine, which is hard because the Ukraine was rated as the most corrupt European nation.
Demanding more and more while constantly criticizing the country that has given the most isn't conductive to a good relationship. The U.S. has veterans sleeping on the streets while it funnels money to the Ukraine. If Putin is so weak that the Ukraine has him on the run and can be in Moscow in days as Zelenskyy says, then how are they going to even dent NATO?
As Crimea only contributes about 1% to the Russian grain totals that is a negligible effect. On a whole Russia exports 35 to 40% of its harvest. So even if the entire country is down 15% they still have plenty for their domestic market though exports would be down. How are the Ukraine's gas stations doing along the M03, M04 and M20 doing? Hard to get to the front without fuel.
@heath_coghlan@M_Simonyan Angela Merkel stated that the 2014 Minsk agreement was an intentional attempt to "give Ukraine time" to strengthen its military and economy to be able to bleed Russia. An agreement that the west and Ukraine never intended to honor.
