West Ham United have confirmed that Joint-Chair David Sullivan has stepped down from his position with immediate effect.
Mr Sullivan has also resigned as a director of both WH Holding Limited and West Ham United Football Club, having been made aware of the impending publication of serious historic allegations. It is understood none of the allegations relate to West Ham United or any of its operations.
Through his own legal representatives Mr Sullivan denies any illegal conduct and has taken the decision to step down in order to avoid disruption to the Club while he addresses the matter privately.
Interim Chief Executive Officer Karim Virani, reporting into the current Board of Directors, will continue to be responsible for leading the Club’s day-to-day operations. The Club will provide an update on the future structure of the Board of Directors in due course, but will make no further comment at this time.
Good read from @StephenWhit89 on Texas A&M graduate Fernando Palomo, who returns to Kyle Field tonight to call the international friendly soccer match between Argentina and Honduras:

The Houston Rockets and the Fertitta Family mourn the passing of Rick Adelman, one of the most respected and influential figures in NBA history.
During his four seasons in Houston, Coach Adelman guided the Rockets with professionalism, integrity, and a deep commitment to the game. His role in leading the team during the 22-game winning streak in 2008 remains one of the most remarkable achievements in franchise history and will always be remembered by Rockets fans.
We extend our deepest condolences to Mary Kay, his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will forever be a part of Rockets history and the fabric of the NBA.
Rick Aldeman’s 2009 Rockets should’ve won it all 💔
They took the eventual champion Los Angeles Lakers to 7 games in the WCSF without Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady.
RIP to a legend.
June 1, 1995: Houston's Hakeem Olajuwon finishes with 39 PTS (16-25 FG)/17 REB/5 BLK as the Rockets defeat the San Antonio Spurs, 100-95, in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals and advance to their second-straight NBA Finals.
The NBA will have a different champion for the eighth straight season, extending the longest such streak in league history.
The NBA Finals begin Wednesday, June 3 at 8:30 PM ET on ABC.
Took a tour of the New @UTSA Basketball & Volleyball training facility & it is state of the art. Everyone has their own locker space, coach space, & plenty of room to practice. TVs & Cameras are everywhere on the courts to film & watch video. There is a weight room, a wellness room, a physical trainer & rehab room. Meeting rooms galore! One unique space was the creative space where athletes can record and edit pictures, podcast and social media content for their own personal development. I wonder what that one cost to NAME ? :) Wink Wink.... Pretty Excited for Next September.
the Astros have thrown 8 no-hitters since they were last no-hit in Matt Cain’s 2012 perfect game
that extends the longest team streak of no-hitters, including playoffs, without being no-hit
h/t @EliasSports
The Astros have achieved their fifth combined no-hitter in franchise history with Tatsuya Imai, Steven Okert and Alimber Santa getting it done on the mound 😤
No other team in the MLB has more than two combined no-hitters and now Houston has five!
THE FIRST MAJOR LEAGUE NO-HITTER SINCE 2024 BELONGS TO THE HOUSTON ASTROS!
Tatsuya Imai, Steven Okert, and Alimber Santa have thrown the 18th no-hitter in Astros history!
