Qualified City of London, Westminster & Clerkenwell/Islington guide. I have lots of useless/useful info about London & I'm Walking London one postcode at a time
https://t.co/tQKheP81sw is a tour firm with a difference; we're owned by our guides, all whom are qualified & accredited. They research, write & lead their own walks. And according to @tripadvisor people seem to like us! @YourLondonWalks @rob_s_smith
From Soho to Stockwell & the Surrey Docks https://t.co/tQKheP81sw have 3 great walks tomorrow exploring a different side of #London@rob_s_smith@StephensLDN @YourLondonWalks
An amazing survivor. Opened in 1865, beautifully restored, City Varities Leeds is still going strong. What you don't realise til you get here is that the theatre sits in a side alley above a pub called the White Swan. And it's a fair climb up especially if you're in the balcony.
An lovely outing to the Marks and Spencer Archive at the University of Leeds. Some pictures here from the early days which I seem to have dropped into. And there were some fascinating 1960s cinema adverts which were obsessed with the wonders of man made fibres.
Tonight explore #London from the comfort of your armchair with these two virtual walks

A lovely afternoon tea today @GrandBrighton on a terrace overlooking the sea. We ate ourselves to a standstill on scrumptious tea things and still had to take home some cake and scones.
Went to vets this morning. I felt very sleepy soon after I got there. When I woke up, I was wearing this strange one-piece coat I had never seen before. They say it is because I have had the snip. No doubt all will be revealed in the fullness of time.
What a swizz. Apparently, inland has been sunny. It's been grey here. Really grey. Definitely not the day to go up the i360 observation thingie. But it still seems to be running.
It didn't rain on #brightonpride2025 parade today. It took an hour and a quarter to pass by our vantage point next to the clock tower. And the sun even tried to come out. Quite an assortment of groups/organisations, including the National Trust!
