@shivmalik@BrokenBarnet It would have been the generation in the photo when they were younger but the younger generation now are not so interested in preserving heritage. They should join the Soho Society and influence their decisions.
@lewis_goodall Read your history books people. If it wasn't for organisations like the Soho Society, Soho and other historic parts of London would be concrete jungles with pedestrian walkways over traffic filled roads which were planned for Soho in the 1970s.
@mrcarl_woodward Although I love a good new musical such as "Two Strangers" and "Benjamin Button" I applaud every announcement of a new West End production that isn't a musical. We need more variety and choice in the West End.
@NotFarLeftAtAll My husband had all this equipment in his final weeks. After he passed away the company that delivered the equipment on behalf of the NHS came and collected. This was post the covid pandemic. It possibly varies depending where you live.
@DarrenJohnson66 They might be twee but they brighten up our streets and make people smile. Unlike the flags they have not been put there with a political motive. Some have been created to raise money for worthy charities. I'll be sad to see them go.
@London_W4 I'm one of your "almost nobodies " plus all the people I've taken here on walking tours over the years. Last tour ws in October finishing with a nice pub lunch at the Morgan Arms.
@Crouch11Crouch@London_W4@Eleanor_dante I would and have on many occasions. A lovely little park, even Alastair couldn't find anything negative to sat about it ๐!
@guidediane The footage? More chillingly, I don't think it is: they've all been practising militant fascistic style stomping and chanting. Just what Jesus would have wanted.
@JENNIFERSELMES@Jenny_1884 News for you. We still have theatres and restaurants and plenty of people attend them. Stop letting the scaremongering people with their anti London agenda make you feel uneasy.
