Jon, tormund, brieanne, Jaime… etc. the outcome ik okay with, but you are right about the pacing of her “madness”

She spent 8 seasons not getting what she wanted, had locked people in an empty vault, had the Tarlys killed by dragon fire against tyrions advice etc etc, and then watched her best friend die in front of her. I think her “mad queen” was def built up.
