I was shocked & deeply saddened to hear the news yesterday that Stepinac lost another member of the Family too soon.
My deepest sympathy & prayers for Coach Rick Lee & his family & friends. May you be in a place of peace, solitude, & happiness. Rick was with Stepinac for 17 years as the Wrestling Coach. I will miss our wrestling jokes about his “sauna suits” that I said I can make for free with aluminum foil. Rick was a serious, knowledgeable & successful coach (& retired White Plains PD) & will be missed by many.
I happened to be working out yesterday at Stepinac when it began to pour, but I continued my workout. I welcomed the coolness. The sun peaked through, I looked up & saw a beautiful rainbow encompassing Stepinac & knew that was a sign that Coach is at peace. @StepinacSports@StepinacHS@StepinacAlumni@lohudsports
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Coach Rick Lee, who served as Stepinac’s Wrestling Coach for 17 years.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew him. He will be missed by the entire Stepinac community.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord. May perpetual light shine upon him. Rest in peace, Coach.
