@LNRailway@AvantiWestCoast Yep appealed and provided the full evidence from Real Time Trains to prove it was LNR, but got the same standard response as first time that it was @AvantiWestCoast false. Didn't address my evidence at all.
So what do I do when @LNRailway and @AvantiWestCoast blame each other for my delay and both refuse my delay repay claim. btw @LNRailway were fully to blame.
@JohnDalziel@EE Crazy. When your phone is stolen you need the quickest method to get it all locked down. If Iβd had to wait for access to a phone line then it would have taken about 3 hrs to get it reported. I was lucky, had mine stolen at Euston and reported it on the train while heading back.
So @LNRailway I was of course and understandably delayed on Tues due to LNR running a 50% service..... yet for the second time in 4 weeks LNR fully reject my delay repay claim and blame @AvantiWestCoast who rightly reject the claim too.
@AvantiWestCoast@LNRailway Cool. LNR are now once an hour, and as Avanti are going to be running slower I can get a train about 15:40 (1 hour earlier) to make the LNR before the my cancelled LNR?
Hi @AvantiWestCoast I have an advance ticket for the 16:40 from eus to cov, changing at cov for @LNRailway to thl. The LNR is already cancelled. Am I able to get an earlier Avanti train today?
@AvantiWestCoast@LNRailway Itβs an advance for that specific train eus-thl 16:40, but I saw a tweet from Avanti last night saying ticket restrictions were being lifted today due to the heat and lnr are running a 50% service thru west mids.
Hi @LNRailway My Avanti train arrived 10 mins late and after my LNR connecting train was due. But that train was 20 mins late and arrived after Avanti. My LNR connecting train now wasn't stopping at my station to make up time & had to wait for next one. Who do I claim against?
Hey @AvantiWestCoast . My Avanti train arrived 10 mins late and after my connecting train was due. But that train was 20 mins late and arrived after yours. My connecting train now wasn't stopping at my station to make up time & had to wait for next one. Who do I claim against?
@LNRailway Yep totally agree, but @LNRailway rejected my delay repay and said @AvantiWestCoast was liable as your train arrived after theirs was due even though theirs was even later and canceled stops between COV and BHM to make up time. Crazy.
@AvantiWestCoast@JawanzaIpyana@transport_wales I have the opposite with LNR. Was onn Avanti from EUS to COV and connection from COV to THL. Avanti was 5 mins late to COV, but LNR was 60 mins late leaving EUS. LNR made up time to COV but didn't stop at THL so had to get next train. LNR rejected claim and said Avanti issue.
@afneil#thisweek was one of the best (the best) political shows. Loved David Dimbleby on QT, followed by TW. The segments were great, guests great and choochoo always good value. Newscast doesn't come close.
@CrossCountryUK yes they told me to mail in the details. Same process as a couple of weeks ago. The refunds were processed within an hour of sending in the mail.
@CrossCountryUK Hi team, I sent an email yesterday to move some train tickets that I cant move online (previously was told to buy a new ticket and you would refund the old one if I send an email). One of the journeys is for tomorrow, so not sure if you need to process today?
