@CathyYoung63@MikeSouthWestUK@HantsPolice The victim passed out from blood loss in a matter of minutes. If you genuinely believe the CYA claim that "there was no visible blood" then I have a bridge to sell you.
@EightTheThot@4eChapman@CathyYoung63@MikeSouthWestUK@HantsPolice Your bio includes four flags none of which are the flags of your actual country, the communist fist symbol but colored black, and a vaccine needle. You are a living argument that LLMs might actually be more sentient than some humans.
Nobody has profiteered more off of Charlie's death than you have, Candace, and you share plenty of Charlie's private communications with you. But there are a few important differences:
1. You were not Charlie's wife.
2. Your messages tend to be from half a decade ago or more -- I wonder why!
3. You love referring to dates he went on and women he knew prior to Erika. There is very clearly no reason to do this except trying to humiliate Erika, and you were doing even before you started accusing her of helping murder Charlie.
4. You do all of this to profit yourself. Yeah, Turning Point needs to raise money. It does that because it actually does things. It puts on multiple conferences a year, it organizes campus events and faith events; TP Action employs literally hundreds of people for ballot chasing efforts in swing states. You've never done anything remotely comparable -- and you couldn't, because you have neither the talent nor the selflessness to do it. All you have is the narcissism to think that what Charlie built should have been handed over to you for free.
Here's how the game they're playing with Erika works. They start with an outrageous claim or accusation that's so serious and damaging, it feels like you have no choice but to respond to it. Then they flip the burden of proof. Instead of proving the claim, they demand proof it isn't true. This is burden-shifting, but it's made worse by the fact that a lot of accusations are difficult (if not impossible) to disprove, especially when they’re about someone's motives or private behavior.
Once the accusation is out there, every possible reaction gets twisted into evidence of guilt. If you deny it, they say you’re being defensive. If you try to explain yourself, they say you’re over-explaining because you got caught. If you get angry, they say your anger proves they struck a nerve. And if you stay quiet, well . . . only the guilty have nothing to say in their own defense.
So the outrageous accusation itself never actually gets tested honestly, and it wasn't supposed to. The whole point was to make as many people as possible believe the claim must be true, no matter what is or isn't said in response to it. And it's nearly as effective as it is evil.
The only way out of the trap is to show that it's a trap, and to ridicule and reject the wicked people who tried to set it up in the first place.
@ChristianneNew@nosoup4knowles So true. When someone I genuinely love dies, I too devote my entire existence to smearing their wife and friends with baseless accusations.
@ChristianHeiens Back in 2010, when I could still be called something of a liberal, I remember this point being made by the SJWs (the back-then term for woke Marxists) and being enraged by it. Little did I know.
As a wise poaster once said, the woke are often more correct than the mainstream.
The level of betrayal that has played out here is insane.
Normally, labor scarcity is how an economy heals itself. When workers become harder to find, employers have to raise wages to deal with it, and out of this market slowdown the seeds of a new boom would be sowed as young people have greater purchasing power to buy a home, get married, and have kids of their own.
But instead of allowing that correction to happen, America chose a different model. We’ve mass imported millions of replacements to suppress wages, blowing out asset prices in the process and leaving native Americans economically (and increasingly culturally and politically) dispossessed in their own country.
All political questions have to be answered by men because it’s men who ultimately write, interpret, and enforce the law. Laws cannot be self-referential or self-enforcing, and when they’re called upon to defend themselves, they’ll always ultimately fail.
But Conservatives (and honestly naive Progressives too) want “the law” to exist without that human enforcement mechanism. They essentially want all the benefit of a king’s peace without there ever being a king himself, which is impossible.
The moment a crisis hits, you better believe the king will reveal himself, whoever he might be or whatever form he might take. In today’s world, he won’t wear a crown and it might not even be a “him” at all. Most likely, it’s an unelected bureaucracy that no one can name or point to. But it has the powers of a monarch all the same.
@vinkeith@Fleetwoodzac76@shipwreckedcrew "I don't want to hear any complaints when the Dems do exactly what they've been doing since 2009"
Your opinion is noted and dismissed as unpersuasive.
@MarshallCohen I would post the "got what I voted for again" Gigachad meme, but I don't want to give Trump credit merely for "investigating" or "calling to investigate".
Trump will have earned his Gigachad when these people are actually in jail or exile.
The Left do forgive you for nazisim, actually. As long as you join their side and gain the Leftists more power.
The Left are willing to overlook anything and everything if you are willing to claim and wield power in their name.
Nothing else but power matters to a Leftist.
If Trump were to completely recant of any conservatism, immediately switch to leftist doctrine and policies, the attacks on him would stop in a month. He would be on the cover of every magazines with a halo and every article would be glowing.
MSM claims of "we're all MAGA now" would flood the news. Leftists love co-opting popular (read: powerful) movements, phrases, and labels for themselves.
@number2pencil1@Ubiquitous_Lee@moekaboobs@locdinwithzaza_ Yeah I heard the same thing about Dick Cheney. Fast forward 20 years and the Left is lionizing him and mourning his death, all because shortly before his death he professed faith in the Current Thing: "Orange Man Bad".
The implication of the polices whole defence is that if Henry did hold any racist opinions it would have been a justified kill.
They even seized his Dads phone to check for racism while he grieved for his dead son.
