@MartinSLewis Credit score is designed to encourage borrowing/debt . So long as I maintain a balance on my credit card but paying in full each month my credit score is unchanged if I completely clear my c/card my score goes down.

@BorisJohnson The response to the inquiry is interesting. At the time some people complained that we didn't need lockdown now they complain it should have started earlier. The Pandemic gave a totally new problem to the modern world and no rule book existed.

They need to allow an additional £20k stocks and Shares ISA allowance, if they are really interested in encouraging investment. Furthermore, don't invent stupid excuses!!

@MartinSLewis My initial question was what ratio of cash savings to investment (anything that's not cash savings) is a good balance?
In asking that question I also need to include age as a factor as well as income to savings ratio and level of risk? Help!!! 😲

@BBCNews 1000 gallons of fuel may sound like a large reserve but it would only provide about one hour of flight. Most accidents occur due to a chain of events, low fuel could just be the first event, hence this one event of concern.
