We took a trip to Beaty Chevrolet to learn about selling cars, customer service, and get a firsthand look at the car-buying process from start to finish.
A big thank you to the Beaty Chevrolet team for welcoming us, sharing your experiences, and helping us learn about different career opportunities and skills that can take us far in the future!
🌟Last week, a group of 5th and 6th graders from Emerald Academy enjoyed an overnight trip to Atlanta through their hard work in attendance, behavior, and academics as part of our Academic Accelerator program with @emeraldyouth. The adventure started with a stop at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, then it was on to Atlanta for an unforgettable lineup: a behind-the-scenes look at Chick-fil-A's corporate headquarters, the powerful Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park, the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, and the World of Coca-Cola. Way to go, scholars!✨
At our Senior Celebration, we had the honor of recognizing the recipients of the Conner Catlett Memorial Scholarship: Tyrone Cobb and Zoey Jacobs.
Created by Mike and Jama Campbell, dear friends of Emerald Youth, in memory of their grandson, Conner, this scholarship is a beautiful reflection of a life that continues to impact others. Through unimaginable loss, their family chose to create something life-giving by investing in young people and ensuring Conner’s joyful spirit continues to ripple through our city for years to come.
Congratulations to Tyrone and Zoey on this incredible honor. We are deeply grateful to the Catletts and Campbells for their generosity, heart, and commitment to the next generation.
What a sweet moment celebrating our kindergarten scholars this morning! We’re so proud of all they’ve learned and how much they’ve grown this year. The future is bright for these little leaders! 💚
EYU: Run it back!💚 What a wonderful and jam packed week at Emerald Youth University! Our staff are trained and ready for the best summer ever at Emerald Youth Foundation!☀
Going back to our roots. 35 years ago in the side lot of Emerald Avenue UMC, a game of kickball was played. Only God could have taken a kickball and turned it into what we know today as the ministry of Emerald Youth Foundation that serves more than 3,500 city youth. Today, we KICKED off summer with prayer, worship, scripture, and yes... a massive game of kickball.💚
Tour of our city!🚌 Emerald Youth University packed onto the bus and headed across Knoxville. New staff members visited our Emerald locations and learned about the depth of our ministry, while discovering more about the rich history of the city neighborhoods in which we serve.

We are taking a moment to say thank you. Emerald Academy could never thrive without the dedicated faculty, administration and staff who serve our scholars daily. Help us say thank you!💚
April All Staff was filled with celebration, worship, prayer, and a powerful word from Pastor Tolbert from Foster Chapel Baptist Church. We praise the Lord every time we can come together as a staff, from every department, from every part of our city, and worship the Lord and all He is doing in our city.
Parents and trainers making kids specialize and only play one sport nowadays 🤮
