All of those moves look bad in hindsight. He’s paid millions to make great bball decisions. I’m not smarter than him and I’m not paid to be.

@mdotbrown Is keeping same efficiency metrics while taking a slight step back on defense “taking a leap”? I would argue they want to alter his role more than expect him to morph into a different player. Get another POA defender to reduce his responsibility on D and increase shot attempts.

@TwolvesBlog Agreed, patience for next move or two but looks rough. IF they were going to get off older players contracts and see what they have in the young guys, why not last year when they had their draft pick? This feels very reactive and myopic.

@JakePaynting Idk it might be take De Larrea at 28 or miss out on him. If they don’t trade 28 with other assets for a win now move, De Larrea is a fun fit with the younger pieces.
