Looks like an assist (for Keita) as well as the 2 goals for Jake Davies.

Those in positions of responsibility should not be held responsible; those in control don’t control the organisation’s destiny. Of course, when there’s a positive outcome it’s always down to their perspicacity and brilliance of their decision-making - it’s all down to them then!

[Stephen Grant @SteveGrant2026]

It is remarkable how often WRU’s lack of performance (on or off field) is never fault of anyone connected with it? It’s the fans fault for not turning up, the clubs for not producing the players, the government for increasing NI, foreign wars for increased energy prices.

[Sei Williams @CapS45]

"The job of the WRU is to strengthen the game. But it is fatally wounding it. And we are sick of it".

Nathaniel Hale for Gwladrugby.

[Stephen Grant @SteveGrant2026]

If he hopes to find a ‘can do’ approach at WRU he may have long wait whilst he looks for it. They’ve not been imbued with that kind of approach for quite some time.

@timcwegener @PaulAbbandonato @GwynneRichards @CardiffCityFC Sheehan the Serbian! Nice typo!
To be fair Joel’s only been a regular for City for just over a year. Bellamy was never going to throw in a newbie for the final games of qualifying or play offs. Could perhaps have got some time in Ghana/Romania friendlies though?

[Stephen Grant @SteveGrant2026]

Three poor displays from England so far this series. 1st game lost last 7 wickets for 50 chasing 303. 2nd game failed to defend 429. 3rd game allowed 10th wicket to add 89 defending 241. Time to give Coles/Crane a game? Can they do any worse?

[Test Match Special @bbctms]

Sri Lanka complete an 8 wicket victory over Pakistan in a result that means England cannot qualify for the tri-series final.

England will face Sri Lanka on Thursday looking for a consolation win before they head to Australia.

@ccfcinsiderr @timcwegener @IAmNotABot34832 Wouldn’t say Kanga never got a chance. 6 starts, 10 sub appearances. Didn’t score & rarely looked close to. Tsunoda/Simic no game time here. Varying success on loan. Daland/Mannsverk had moments. Salech ✅

[Stephen Grant @SteveGrant2026]

@DiffDevelopment @Si1927 Evans has scored some cracking goals this season. Have also been impressed with Tobin creatively in some of the highlights packages I’ve seen this season. 🔵⚪️

@Cardiff_Rugby @UlsterRugby Might have more chance of supporters wearing ☠️if Macron didn’t keep underestimating demand and understocking supplies? 🔵⚫️

[Stephen Grant @SteveGrant2026]

Increasingly English-based Welsh players are moving on to other PREM clubs rather than returning to Wales - Carré to Bath following likes of Williams to Sarries & Smith/Tshiunza to Sale. No attraction in returning as things stand?

[Alex Bywater @_AlexBywater]

Understand that Rhys Carre from Saracens 💫 to Bath 🛁 is a done deal and that the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 prop will move to The Rec after next year’s World Cup as a replacement for Beno Obano.

Congratulations to Tom Edwards, who has been named in the England U19s squad for their winter tours of Sri Lanka and Pakistan! 🌟

A training camp in Colombo kicks things off before three Youth ODIs and a Youth Test in Rawalpindi.

Proud of you, Tom! 🏏

Screams out an organisation with little control over its financial performance and poor information systems. You can’t be month out from year end & think position is so different from what it turned out to be! 🤷🏻‍♂️

[Stephen Grant @SteveGrant2026]

Good to hear he’s going to challenge existing decisions. As new Chair, so he should. If they’re robust they’ll stand up to scrutiny. Interest challenge to those criticising from sidelines but not willing to get hands dirty.

[Steffan Thomas @Steffan_Thomas1]

Big interview with new WRU chair Lyndon Faulkner.

He will review WRU plan to axe a team and is not scared to make tough decisions. Very impressive guy with an outstanding track record in business.

[Stephen Grant @SteveGrant2026]

As for the financial info given to candidates being out of date? Incredible! If it’s not bad enough that CFO describes finances as ‘pretty good’ in May (with June year end) yet ‘bleak’ by October, those Oct figures were significantly different from those candidates saw in Sept!

[Stephen Grant @SteveGrant2026]

A continuing frustration. What happens when you bring together the ‘genius’ of URC & WRU! 🤷🏻‍♂️

[Cardiff Rugby Life @CardiffRugbyWeb]

Should be the start of a big Welsh derby game week, and it'll still be a great occasion facing the Ospreys at New St Helen's for the first time, but how in the year 2026 are we still getting derbies on weekends when internationals will not be available?

[Stephen Grant @SteveGrant2026]

Important for Cardiff to get him re-signed. With Faletau potentially likely to move on after this season & Lawrence older than Basham he’s an important component of the team’s style.
