It’s a law, not a natural right.
Semantics aside, you’re entitled to seek your own path, but you’re not entitled to my labor to achieve that.
The issue is the sense that “things come from somewhere” rather than “people have to work to create things”
If you’re a collectivist, you believe you’re entitled to a share of those things. Zero sum. I have, you take.
If you’re an individualist, you believe you should be free to create things for your benefit alone. I make, I keep.
Don’t get tied up parsing words. Be honest, you don’t value your own efforts so you don’t value anyone else’s.
Yes.
But not from you. You’re an ignorant asshole.
Plus- you don’t have any.
How do I know? I understand statistics. If you compare now vs then but you don’t have a dataset for then, you’re simply guessing.
The fact that given current methods, choosing a different starting year for comparison leads to a conclusion it’s actually cooling. Your math is faulty.
Things need to be improved for the next generation.
That’s part of your job.
Us gen x’ers are awesome. It’s probably time we dig in and tear up some of the boomers mistakes.
Let’s keep it simple:
Food: let’s get boiled corn goo out of EVERYTHING we eat. Plastic bottles? No thanks, enough plastic in my nuts apparently.
Houses: no corporate ownership of r1 zoned homes. Rent seeking is a killer. Also, if rent has increased by over 10% in 10 years, then all growth boundaries are suspended. Build houses and let people buy them. Also- there’s a lot of room out there, let’s have yards. 5000sq ft lot or it’s an apartment.
Education: feds out. No more loan guarantees for foreign students. No more bankruptcy exemption for college loans. State Universities must favor state residents.
Cars: sue California. Return interstate commerce to the congress. And ffs roll back the DOT. Build the infrastructure. Don’t require us to use donkey power vehicles
Energy: let’s stop pretending that anyone believes the climate is in a catastrophe. Stop using $100 to save 14¢ and turn on the lights and AC. Nuclear, not wind.
Immigration: based on unemployment rates. You can’t take our spot.
Trade: if you’re not buying about what you’re selling to us, then you’re either exploiting your people or ours. No expensing of foreign workers or contractors against taxable income.
Legal: rape factory prison system isn’t helping. Let private companies bid for upscale rehabilitation programs and facilities. You get a shot at your own room, a real job, and some basic luxuries. Or you get oatmeal, bars and curfew. You get sentenced to prison? You don’t get out until you’re not a threat. Regardless of the charges. Disbar half the lawyers.
Healthcare: high deductible with FSA’s that you can carry over. You have a medical account, you have to pay for it from that. Market forces will work.
Let’s sell social security too. Guaranteed benefits in your name. Indigent and disabled are insured by former FICA taxes. Like Medicare- you can have basic benefits, or you can have your benefits managed by approved programs.
I think it’s a reasonable start on some problems.
@KieranTearKnee3 I’m always aware that everything I see on the internet has the potential to be fake.
Do you always believe everything you see on the internet?
@CowGames579@WeaponsVault Ok, then it seems like that guy is doing that to the other people. Just shooting and hoping someone walks into it.
But yes. Go around or don’t go in at all. He can’t shoot you if you’re not in the doorway.
@LibertyCappy It’s actually doggo speak. It’s when dog owners pretend to speak for their animals.
So, not only is she wrong, she’s stupid.
Haz Cheezburgr fren?
