A Mexican illegal migrant who gave birth to an anchor baby in Saint Louis, Missouri, was arrested by ICE after it was discovered she allegedly tried to traffic her baby to another illegal migrant woman to help her stay in the U.S.

Maria Lidia Valle-Hernandez had been caught trying to illegally enter the U.S. near Santa Teresa, New Mexico, five times in August 2022. She is also a domestic violence suspect.
