90% of the soldiers on the first boats to hit the beach didn't live to see the end of the day. Look at those faces. Some of them never made it to 18.
Never forget that they paid the ultimate price for our freedom. We live our lives the way we do because of them.
@BradleyHamster@Excellentsalvic Bradley, I have news for you. You will stand face to face with your creator someday. And He will remind you of your words.
1. Spend time in His Word. Study the Bible daily. Spend time morning noon and night in His Word.
2. Pray daily. Not some repetitive prayer that you memorized. Pour your heart out to God. Speak to Him as to a friend.
3. Find a Bible believing church to attend. You need fellowship and Christian friends. A word of caution, most churches say the teach the Bible, find one that truly opens and teaches God’s Word.
God Himself told us Christ is the Son of God.
Matthew 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Romans 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
@pinocch79568048@Babywwir I go to the Word, not Alexa. The Bible tells me Christ is the Rock, not Peter.
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them:
and that Rock was Christ. 1Cor10:4
@___TheGOOdWitch God’s moral law reflects His character. God is love and His moral law reflects His love. Christians don’t believe in murder because we love God and our fellow man. It has nothing to do with being afraid of God
@farmingandJesus Just an observation, most Christians don’t spend enough time studying the word to know what it says. Yes, they memorize some favorite text, but spend virtually no time in deep study. This leads to much of the confusion.
@farmingandJesus I agree with you. However, many Protestants follow Catholic teachings. Many are deceived. We say Sola Scriptura yet many follow the teachings of men.
