@alexofficiallyy@Cevans1999@XtremelifeM@SkySportsPL Man! You still don't get it. It's not just passing the ball that wins him the league. After a 1000 passes you still need to score a goal to win. You don't win a football game by just passing.
@SirCalex01@Cevans1999@XtremelifeM@SkySportsPL You're not getting it, are you? Thing is, you don't need to complete a 1000 passes to score. The goal is to shoot at the goal, anyhow. You can complete as many passes but that won't win you a game. First goal? Partey started a quick one to Martinelli, Carafioli, GOAL! Simple!
@alexofficiallyy@Cevans1999@XtremelifeM@SkySportsPL Spurs pass the ball very well and they last won the league in 1961. City waited from 1968 until the oil money in 2012 to win the league again. It took Liverpool 30 years to win the league again in 2020. Chelsea waited from 1955 to 2004. There are always barren spells.
@RichardOnsare1@piersmorgan But when Rodrigo got injured. It wasn't a foul. So you wanted Partey to be booked for nothing because Rodri fell on his knee during a duel?
@FabrizioRomano@DiscoMirror I love it that now Arsenal has managed to get under City's skin. Arsenal has rattled City & rival fans by being able to play any type of football as the circumstances dictate. They can play beautiful and ugly in equal measure and grind out results. Cry on Bernardo Silva, cry on.
@SyckoRed@Markafc87@SkySportsPL Really? You think that's all there's to football? Get the ball, pass it... like City did all game. If football was all about getting a balk and passing it, then City should have beat 10 man Arsenal 5-2.
@Cevans1999@XtremelifeM@SkySportsPL Passes don't win football games. That's the reason their team was leading 2-1 during that time and with the fewest of passes.
City made a million passes but still couldn't beat 10 man Arsenal. That's football for you.
@ViManUtd @Cevans1999@XtremelifeM@SkySportsPL A pass? For what? When they were leading 2-1 at half time. This alone tells you that there's so much to football than just passes. Harvetz was a menace to the City defense and won the most duels in the game ( 8 ). Had a shot on goal too with a good run in the first half.
@itscoldpelmer@XtremelifeM@SkySportsPL Pass for what? Is he supposed to make passes? He had a good run on goal and had a shot on goal. He won the most duels in the match ( 8 ). There's so many things to football than just passes. 1000 passes won't win you a match.
@European_label@XtremelifeM@SkySportsPL Clearly you've just started following Chelsea and have zero ball knowledge. Mourinho used to do just that. And Arsenal has clearly rattled so many rival fans for not letting City beat them. Defense is an art as is attack.
@SkySportsPL Yet Kai Harvetz won the most duels in the match ( 8 ). Had a shot on goal and put in an unbelievable defensive shift. He worked his ass off. Timber? Was rock solid at the back, he wasn't dribbled past and made clearances. I can't fault any of them. They played their hearts out.
@SamsonKasumba If the abusive language has irked you, then surely it irked the ones he targeted as well. Let's see how it works. There's no rule book for fighting injustice. You won't be dictating how one should respond to all manner of injustice being meted out to him and his people.
@SamsonKasumba@NseroSmiles Bobi isn't Martin Luther King Jr and they're operating under different circumstances. There are so many ways to kill a rat. You aren't limited to what worked for Mahatma or Luther. For Mandela, they had to have the military wing as well. Who knows if insults can help the cause?
@DailyMonitor This is what killed Martyrs Day for me, the military take-over.
Pedestrian space has been reduced, guns everywhere, when one person stumbles the whole queue begins to stagger....terrified of losing one's footing and getting trampled.
