A very busy day @DriffieldShow today helping passengers at the station and shuttle bus stops. It was encouraging to see so many people travelling to Driffield by rail and bus today and using the shuttle bus. Thanks to @EYBuses , Adam Fowler and all our volunteers.
@EYFillingham Couldn't agree more. If we can get them in at a younger age we can mould them into the master drivers and mentors of the future and promote good driving habits and set them onto a path of longer term career success in the industry.
A week off in Scotland.
Time to reappraise my priorities and decide what the future should look like. Life is too short. It's been a stressful few weeks with some very bad news on the home front.
Final day in Walsall and today's task is to conduct an in service evaluation. All trainees need to mark the drive within two points of each other. Not an easy task for sure when you sit halfway down the bus! Been a thoroughly enjoyable and thought provoking course.
Day 2 of the ROSPA course and felt my second practice assessment went really well. Assessment time tomorrow and looking forward to it. Feel it has definitely been worth while doing and will be of benefit to our drivers and the company.
Out of the house 0315 for our 9 coaches out today. All 7 @nationalexpress diagrams and 2 @EYCoaches. All started, watered and moved and I'm the only one in the depot. Very odd!
Merry Christmas to everyone . It's been a busy year and genuinely excited to see what will develop next year it is indeed interesting times in the coach world. I hope you all have a restful Christmas and spend some quality time with your families.
Always one of the best parts of the year when @EYCoaches provides an @EYBuses open topper for these excellent events. Well Done to all and top points to our driver Tony for being Santa last night!
Important Update: We will be reducing our network from December 4th due to low passenger demand. Affected customers will be contacted by our customer service team.

Thank you for your continued support.
How she looked at the reveal. @KomkovSergej what a design it was. When we came back to the network from COVID this was the first vehicle I selected for return as I got to drive it every weekend for 3 months with only one other driver.
After five years with the national express driving design wrap Coach 3 BF68 LCX is back in standard network livery from today. Something is coming however. Watch this space.
I thoroughly enjoyed being the designated driver taking it to Queen Victoria square in Hull for the reveal way back in July 2019. One of my first acts in charge of the operation. Lots has changed since then! Here's to another 5 years.
Well it's all over the Internet already so here is Fleet number 3 with its special wrap being unveiled after I drove it onto the square this afternoon.
