Warren Buffett: "The bottom 2% in terms of income in the United States, the bottom 5%, and for sure the top 1% all live better than John D. Rockefeller was living when I was six years old."
"John D. Rockefeller was the richest man in the world and, today, you can get better medicine, better education, better entertainment, better transportation. You can do everything better than he could."
"When I was born, the dentist didn't use novocaine!"
The US operation "Project Freedom" launched by President Trump collapsed in less than a day.
Reportedly, Saudi Arabia has suspended overflight rights for US forces at the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. A call between Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman did not resolve the issue.
It appears that the Arab states are increasingly getting wary and annoyed of Trump's rash and uncoordinated steps, clearly marking the lowest point in US power projection in this region since 1930.
Rubio’s latest role as Press Secretary was phenomenal today. He knocked question after question from a frenzied press corps out of the park.
He gave a perfect answer when he was asked, “What is your hope for America at a time such as this?”
Rubio responded:
“My hope for America is what it’s always been… We want it to continue to be the place where anyone from anywhere can achieve anything. Where you’re not limited by the circumstances of your birth, by the color of your skin, by your ethnicity - but frankly it’s a place where you are able to overcome challenges and achieve your full potential…
Our history is not one of perfection, but it’s still better than anybody else’s history. Ours is a story of perpetual improvement. Each generation has left the next generation of Americans freer, more prosperous, safer…
As we come upon this 250 year anniversary, I think we have a lot to learn and be proud of in our history. It is one of perpetual and continuous improvement, where each generation has done its part to bring us closer to fulfilling the vision that the founders of this country had upon its founding.”
I know that was spoken like a true politician, but it was damn good 🇺🇸
Hard work pays off. A convenience store owner in Staten Island awards students based on grades. Children bring in their report cards and he gives them items from his store for working hard in their classes.
Mariah, a fourth grader, can barely look over the counter but she shows the store owner her report card and her Student of the Month certificate. The generous store owner allows her to choose items from the store. When Mariah brings several things to the counter he asks, “Is that all you want?”
The grading system is 1=Rarely,2=Sometimes,3=Usually, 4=Always. If Mariah achieves mostly fours, she will receive $100.00 from. The grading systems are different today, but this store owner gets an A+ and way to go Mariah!!!
🇺🇦 "Operation: Save Grandma": Ukrainian soldiers spotted an elderly woman walking along a heavily shelled road in the Lyman district through drone footage.
“She was walking among shell craters and the bodies of her fellow villagers with no hope of survival, until a robot came for her,” reports the Third Army Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
They deployed a ground robotic vehicle covered with a blanket that read: “Grandma, get in!”
The robot successfully delivered the 77-year-old woman to the evacuation point.
I've just answered that, above. I'll repeat it:
If an adult feels they can only exist comfortably and authentically in this world by dressing in the opposite sex's clothes, having surgeries and taking hormones, or in adopting one of the many gender labels, I wish them safety, happiness and health, as long as they're not harming anyone else. You, however, seem to think that for a trans-identified man to be 'comfortable' and 'authentic', everyone in the vicinity must abandon their freedom of speech and belief to accommodate his 'identity'.
Women are not validation props, comfort blankets or support animals. We aren't a rest home for men who don't like being men. If a person's happiness and self-esteem resides entirely in whether or not they can compel everyone around them to lie, whether out of fear or pity, I would respectfully suggest they are unlikely to have a very comfortable life, and are about as far from being 'authentic' as it is possible to be.

It fascinates me that anyone could look at this conflict and not admire Ukraine. They look at these two leaders, one who is innovating and fighting for his people...and one who is sitting in the Kremlin...and think "oh yes I admire the guy in the Kremlin relying on mercenaries hired from abroad....not the guy who innovates and resisted invasion."
But then again...it's the same types apparently who looked at young and strong and inspiring Peter Magyar and thought "oh, yes superannuated Orban is better"....so it must just be a glitch....because no reasonable person would ever draw those conclusions.
🧵🚨 THREAD: Charlie Kirk was assassinated at Utah Valley University. Within TWO HOURS, leaders of 7 "bridge-building" organizations assembled on a conference call. Why so fast? Because UVU was THEIR campus. 🚨
This is Maury Giles, incoming CEO of Braver Angels, admitting on camera at the National Conference on Citizenship:
"Within two hours of the assassination, a group of us, all Utahns, we gathered on a call. We'd become friends over the last 5 years through our work in the community. And we also happen to be leaders in seven different national organizations that work in civic renewal."
Two hours. Seven national organizations. But this wasn't a spontaneous reaction to a tragedy. This was a network protecting its home turf. Because UVU wasn't just the place where Kirk was shot. It was the institutional center of the entire bridge-building / Dignity Index apparatus... and had been for years.
And the kicker?
These seven national organizations don't hide their own intent: replicate color revolution tactics in the United States. And, yes, that includes MWEG - Mormon Women for Ethical Government.
I have the receipts... they all admitted this on camera.
As always, patience as I pull together the thread. 👇
If the United States wasn’t so polarized, this man would be (rightfully) lionized and idolized as a one of the greatest world leaders of the 21st Century.
I pray one day he will get his due.
The future is already on the front line – and Ukraine is building it. These are our ground robotic systems. For the first time in the history of this war, an enemy position was taken exclusively by unmanned platforms – ground systems and drones. The occupiers surrendered, and the operation was carried out without infantry and without losses on our side.
Ratel, TerMIT, Ardal, Rys, Zmiy, Protector, Volia, and our other ground robotic systems have already carried out more than 22,000 missions on the front in just three months. In other words, lives were saved more than 22,000 times when a robot went into the most dangerous areas instead of a warrior. This is about high technology protecting the highest value – human life.
From the congratulatory address to the workers of Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex (2/3).
A blockade collapses Iran's imports to zero because there's no cash from oil exports to pay for anything. It sends Iran's currency into a devaluation spiral and the economy into hyperinflation. There's pros and cons to a blockade, but the pros dominate...

Jodie Foster traveling to the Vega star system, 26 light years from Earth, in Contact. Cosmic wonder treated with seriousness, restraint, and awe.
God, this movie is so good.
Imagine Amazon — but for combat drones. Ukraine built it. Commanders log in, browse hundreds of drone models, pay with brigade credits and receive delivery in 5-10 days.
Successful strikes earn bonus credits. No other military in the world does this — NYT. 1/
