@SurreMediaFacts The whole timeline on this particular thing was pretty difficult. The long and the short is that it's Bob's film to do what he wanted with- and even though it's public domain, I honored his wishes and didn't release it for that reason.

@TheMonologist I've heard the story of it airing only once, and it turns out to not be true. It was shown through the campaign and that's how it became famous. Prints were made in 16mm and super 8 in the 70s and early 80s. This copy looks like the one we cleaned up for Blu-ray

@AmarantineHoney @blameitonjorge The film was never lost, really. The story is pretty accurate. I was asked by the creator to not release the film, and honored those wishes, and didn't mention that he asked since he also asked me not to. Still honoring his wishes to not release.

I have a few 8mm prints as well, so it exists just fine. Now, if I could only get back that print of 'Felix Fans the Flames' I gave away 22 years ago...

@revie_studios @fleischertoons It is our version; we literally just cleaned this up last year. I wont' complain if you do us a favor back and help us replicate the Rainbow Parades, volume 2 set that this film is on.
