I foresee a career where I am deeply involved in @WordPress specifically in the area of education, training, mentorship and community building. My dream is to see the massive adoption of the CMS in Africa.
#RestlessTeachers
As a teacher, what do you do when your students show a lot of interest in a topic or field where you have no interest at all and they are banking on you.
We are #RestlessTeachers
If you know someone out there who would wish to train as a teacher, the Uganda National Institute for Teacher Education has extended its application deadline. Join any of 5 campuses spread across Uganda

We thank @UNICEFUganda for its continued commitment to improving education in Uganda. We are equally grateful to @JAbaneka for her role in fostering meaningful collaboration between @UNICEFUganda and education sector stakeholders across the country.
Together, we are stronger
@SpireJim@UCC_Official This comes from 2% of gross revenue, a statutory levy aimed at bridging the digital gap in Uganda. With these funds, UCUSAF is able to improve access to ICT services in underserved areas.
I testify. One example is the modern computer labs in secondary schools accross Uganda.
Today, my article was published in the @newvisionwire. I have consistently used newspaper articles as a platform to advocate for the causes of @triskelionedu2 and amplify issues affecting students and young people.
Thank you @gutenbergtimes for your generous support to this year’s edition of the Uganda Website Projects Competition.

Happy Birthday, @WordPress
WordPress just turned 23 and if you’re not part of this community yet, you are missing out on something real.
Not software. Not a platform. People.
WordCamps are where it happens. Where the person who wrote the code that runs your website is sitting two seats away from someone who just published their first post this morning. Where conversations that started over cheap coffee turned into business partnerships, friendships, and for some of us, something that feels a lot like family.
You show up for the freebies and the discounts. You stay because someone grabs your arm and says, “Your plugin changed my business” and means it.
This is what open source looks like when it works. Not obligation. Gratitude. People giving back because something was given to them first.
WordPress didn’t just hand the world a publishing tool. It handed us a reason to find each other.
The next WordCamp is coming. The late nights, the loud rooms, the quiet moments, they’re all waiting.
Don’t miss it. In this post are some people wishing you a Happy Birthday

@SpireJim RiP Mw. Lubega. After learning of the accident, it taught me deep, not to reply to posts on impulse. The initial posts were about URA, little did I know that one of our own, a fellow teacher and close friend whom I had just talked to a day earlier was also a victim.
