@josedavidmillan In 1994 you turned on the TV, turned down the sound, and listened to the radio commentary as the commentators were better. Now you have different members of the family watching on different platforms, and they are all at different times of the match.
@Vocal_GenX Nobody ever designed a brick/stiletto/frying pan for it's ability to cave somebody's head in. The point on a non-domestic knife was designed solely to penetrate flesh.
@celtic_jaime The film used elements from two plays written by Andrea Dunbar. Clio Barnard's film 'The Arbor' tells her sad story, and that of those she left behind.
@Classicbritcom My first memory of Bob was watching his Friday night silent comedy show, featuring clips from his huge collection of the silent greats such as Chaplin and Keaton.
@RupertLowe10 Too many are making this a race issue, but to me the problem is fairness. People who work hard and try and stick to the law do not get treated as well as people who claim to be a special minority, be that cultural, sexual identity, etc.
@MsPocketRocket There was a legend that when they first appeared on TOTP, George Harrison rang Ringo Starr and told him to turn TV on, Marc Bolan was on singing with Hitler.
@Alexandr4Denman We have a serious problem with knife crime in this country. Carrying ANY knife in public should be a crime. I stopped carrying a penknife many years ago in case I found myself being searched by police. I know it is a sikh tradition, but why do they NEED to have one in public.
@SarahCoombesWB We have appalling knife crime in the UK. There should be a total ban on carrying knives in public, regardless of personal background. One bad egg is too much.
@TRobinsonNewEra When the first video emerged the policeman involved was going to be thrown under the bus. Once the full story emerged, nobody was found guilty.
@ColinSpenc4257 My wife worked at rivals Matthews Butchers in the early 80s. Shops didn't open Sunday, so on Saturday night the staff had to share the meat joints left on display. Good times.
