The selfless work, time and effort that Mike puts in to helping youth and adult amateur boxers as well professional fighters is testament to his willingness to do the best for people in the community . #wiltshirecommunity#malmesbury#wiltshirepcc
The boxing gym is a welcome release from my working life preparing pro fighter Bec Connolly for her next fight... hopefully being another appearance on Sky Sports...
Mike and I have had long discussions about whether the political and Tory dominance of this post can be broken. We wouldn't pursue this if we didn't at least have a chance of winning.
There’s no doubt that as an Independent Candidate with no political party resources or funding to back me, I am the complete Underdog in this election .
But I’ve been a fighter all my life and the most dangerous fighter is one with nothing to lose....
I know Mike is strongly against fox hunting and wants to ensure that activity is impartially policed and offenders pursued without fear or favour. He has some good ideas around effective policing of it. #wiltshirepcc#illegalfoxhunting
I’ve had lots of people asking my views on fox hunting. It’s a very emotive subject but my view is very clear. It is illegal and should be properly policed. I respect countryside traditions and have no issues with trail hunting. But don’t use that as a smokescreen to kill foxes.
Exactly why Mike Rees should be the next Wiltshire PCC..... a man with policing knowledge who genuinely cares about people from all backgrounds #homeless#wiltshirepcc#MikeRees_PCCW
Homelessness is a major issue in our towns and cities.Yesterday my colleagues and I at Malmesbury Boxing Club appealed for donations of sleeping bags , food and clothes from local people. We will deliver these to the Open Doors support agency in Devizes. #wiltshire#Homeless
